To nurture the entrepreneurs of tomorrow, E-CON at SCMHRD – started out in 2005 with this mission in mind:

Description

The Entrepreneurship and Consulting Cell is managed and driven by students. It is a committee that generates its own funds and organizes and hosts a variety of events aimed at developing the leadership skills and a spirit of entrepreneurship among students. We plan to bring in more entrepreneurs from all spheres of business to inspire and guide the students on how to chart their own destiny.

Live Projects

In an attempt to increase exposure of the students to the currents trends in the industry and also to increase industry-academia interaction, the entrepreneurship and consulting cell actively collaborates with well-established start-ups and organizations to involve students with short term live projects from these organizations. The students receive active mentorship from the industry through these as well as certifications and stipend.

The Entrepreneurship and Consulting Cell (ECON) of SCMHRD has the most unique offering this year for all the entrepreneurs and students. SCMHRD has always believed in enabling a platform for new ideas and ventures that can solve the problems of today’s society.

ECON in collaboration with TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) bring to you the first ever TiE Masterclass to be held in a B-school.

About TiE: 

 The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region.

About the Speaker: Mr. Ravi Nigam has 35+ years of experience in running Food and Agri companies both in India and at the International level. He is the co-founder and former Managing Director of Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd.  and an alumnus of Harvard Business School and the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA). A charter member at TiE, Mr. Nigam chairs the prestigious ‘Nurture - a Flagship Program” for young entrepreneurs. He is also an active Angel Investor.

TiE Masterclass gives the ideal platform to students and entrepreneurs alike to understand the scalability and feasibility of their idea.
